Prescott is Paradise

It only took me a few weeks to figure out that Prescott Arizona is one of the best places to live in America. It starts with the home town feel. People are friendly, nice and willing to help you. Just a decent group of people.
The Climate. What can be said about the climate? I was born and raised in Chicago. I knew nothing about the West. It was either cold and snowy, rainy and damp or hot and humid. The climate here is nothing short of sensational. Sure there were those Chicago days in September when a clear cool day appeared and we all thought nirvana had arrived.
In Chicago, you might be able to see your next door neighbor. Here in Prescott and the West you can see for miles. Most properties are on a hill. You can see the Bradshaw Mountains or Thumb Butt.
Then there is the town square and the events honoring the old west from rodeo’s to Christmas caroling. The town square is built around the Territorial Capital from the 1880’s. It’s a delightful place. Find a bench and a spot under a tree. Sit back and just watch people. When you are tired of that, go to one of the many art shops, saloons, old time restaurants and have a brew or a soda.
Do I love it here? You bet. Will you? Come on out, have a look see and a palaver (Cowboy Speak for a sit down discussion) with me. If you do, you won’t want to go back home.
